Preparing for Secondary Mathematics Teaching.
A part time course (one year) to enable participants to experience all aspects of the Secondary Mathematics curriculum, before undertaking the PGCE Secondary Mathematics course.

Prepare to Teach

A ‘taster’ course for those considering
secondary teaching as a career. The course offers flexible start and finish time, a short school placement , a school facilitator and tutor support.
At the end of the course participants should know whether they are temperamentally suited to be teachers and whether there are any gaps in their subject knowledge.
The subjects currently offered are:
Mathematics, Science, Modern Foreign Languages, Design and Technology,
Cymraeg.

S.E.Wales.
